Cosmetic acupuncture with Alice
What is cosmetic acupuncture?
Cosmetic or facial acupuncture is a safe and natural way to rejuvenate your face and enhance your general health. This ancient anti-ageing method naturally restores healthy radiance, whilst also addressing underlying conditions that are affecting the complexion.
It is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to Botox, which accounts for nearly 40% of non-surgical treatments in the UK.

Tiny sterile needles are used on points on the face which help to regenerate collagen and elastin, improving the elasticity of the skin. The treatment also enhances blood flow and promotes cellular repair.
This lifts and enhances skin tone, softens fine lines and blemishes and gives your face an overall healthy glow.
The skin will be firmed, with wrinkles and fine lines reduced, and sagging around the neck and eyes tightened. Body acupuncture points are also used (specific to your needs) to treat any internal imbalances holistically, as these reflect in the face.
This is why cosmetic acupuncture is considered more than a facial, it also treats the body and mind.
After a course of facial acupuncture patients usually report not only improvements in their appearance, but improvements in their general health too.
Are there any risks?
Facial acupuncture is a gentle, natural and chemical free approach to anti-ageing, without the risks and side effects of more invasive cosmetic procedures - you do not have to worry about allergic reactions, redness, swelling or downtime.
Although the majority of patients do not experience any complications, a small amount of temporary bruising, bleeding or puffiness may occasionally occur.
What should I expect?
During your initial session I will carry out a full consultation to understand your health as a whole, I will look at your tongue and take your pulse in order to make a diagnosis.
This will form the basis of your treatments and takes around 20 – 30 minutes.

If you’re happy to go ahead, we will then begin

A course of at least 10 treatments is recommended to start with, ideally weekly. The benefits are cumulative, and the results are achieved with consistent and continued treatment.
